Our story starts with Joal Suraci, who left a national firm to come home and build something of his own. He eventually went on to partner with a well-established local Chartered Professional Accountant as part of a succession plan—bringing big-firm experience and a passion for helping local businesses thrive.

After working in public accounting for several years and a brief step into industry, Riki Olszewski joined this firm as a manager. She had realized her heart was in assurance and client relationships and saw this as an opportunity to return to her passion. As Joal and Riki worked together, they quickly discovered a shared vision:

to create a modern, responsive accounting firm rooted in high-quality service and driven by the latest in technology and best practices.

On retirement of the senior partner, that vision became reality. Suraci & Olszewski LLP was launched.
